A Former Henrico County School teacher is daring to bridge the chasm between Democrats and Republicans alike with her new novel: “Vera’s Still Point” In the wake of the proposed gay marriage amendment going to vote in November, Ruth Perkinson reverberates that very theme in a book Virginians won’t soon forget. “Vera’s Still Point” is going to eclipse the way people view, religion, politics, and the public school system. It’s truly a novel for our changing times.
