I have been writing the Akitada series, historical mysteries set in ancient Japan, for a number of years now.  Unfortunately, while I get a good bit of interest across the country and oversees, there has been little attention locally. My novels have been published by major publishers (St. Martin’s Press and Penguin)and are translated into eight languages. My short stories have appeared in ALFRED HITCHCOCK’S MYSTERY MAGAZINE and won mjor awards.

The next novel in the series, BLACK ARROW, will be released by Penguin November 28 and should be in the Richmond book stores then. It is a trade paper edition and retails for $ 14.00. If not, there is always amazon.com.
